Mark Zuppichini - Executive Vice President

Mark began his career in the food business 18 years ago with General Foods. He began as a Marketing and Advertising Coordinator, but shortly after he moved on to an Account Executive position at Food Associates. When the Dairy/Deli Division merged into Marketing Specialists in 1995, Mark transitioned alongside Fred and Owen.

Some seven years after that merger, Mark became a partner in World Wide Sales. "As a partner, we get involved with our customers and principals in a very hands on manner. We're very active owners, out on the road and meeting new people all of the time. My own personal role is focused on the sales side of the business. We really are a team, and we all try to work together to get the job done the right way. I think that our principals appreciate this, and that is why we have represented accounts for a long time. We work well together, and each of us gets personally involved."

Much like his partner Fred, Mark attributes the company's success to a very simple formula. "People stay with us because we treat everyone well and it's a good atmosphere. We are a tight knit group in the office, and we make it a point to do things together to achieve a sense of solidarity. In a company like ours, you feel part of a family. I believe that's an important part of a successful company."

Mark's role as leader of the company's sales managers is crucial to the success of the organization. "I am truly a salesman at heart. It is what I know and what I love about this business. I often tell our team that we need to constantly remember that the core of our business is our ability to sell the products we proudly represent to our customers. It is great to have all of the bells and whistles needed to survive today, but it all boils down to getting the order. We get the order, plain and simple."

Mark earned a BA and a Masters in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
