Rich Borchers - Vice President Produce

Rich Borchers serves as the Vice President of the Produce Department. His responsibilities include managing both the New York and Philadelphia markets. Rich also works as a Business Manager, and spends a great deal of his time out in the trade.

"For our Produce Department, I am in charge of managing our existing principal base, as well as soliciting new business. On the retail side, I monitor our retail merchandising team to ensure that we meet the needs at store level. We provide adequate follow-up for both the retail customer and our principals, and this is done on a timely basis. We are aggressive, and we know how to get the job done. We know we need to put forth a great deal of personal attention at every level, and that is exactly what we do."

Rich feels that the Produce Department at World Wide Sales is a major strength for the organization. "I believe that it says a great deal that we represent a prestigious brand such as Dole. It proves that now matter how large the manufacturer local market expertise is essential. Our performance speaks for itself."

Rich graduated from the University of South Florida.
