A Sneaky Price Increase?

We can see this clearly from both sides as a broker organization, but this article is interesting in its detail of the packaged goods on our grocery shelves and how they are "downsizing" while keeping the costs the same. I don't know if I really miss those few extra Doritos, but going as far as calling it a "sneaky price increase" is a little much for my liking. Coke came out with the "perfect serve" which was a brilliant business move in that it cut down on the size of the product and made us feel it was a benefit, without a reduction in the price! McDonalds does away with the Super Size menu, giving us less product for the same price, while portraying themselves as nutritionally conscious. You have to love the spin in all of this!
