Alfred D'Agostino
Executive Vice President
Alfred D’Agostino serves as Executive Vice President of World Wide Sales. He has held this position since the company’s founding in 2001.
Before assuming his current role, D’Agostino, served as Senior Vice President of the Perishable Business Unit at Marketing Specialists, a major nationwide Food Brokerage headquartered in Fairfield, NJ.
Fred, a Bronx NY native, began his career in the food industry in 1969 working in a local Finast Supermarket. In 1973,Food Associates of Kearny, NJ hired him as a retail salesman covering Westchester County, NY. In the following decade, Fred was promoted to a Retail Supervisor, then to Account Manager. Fred eventually began working directly for the President of their newly formed Perishable Division.
By 1987, Fred had earned Partner status in Food Associates, a position he would hold for eight years. In 1995, the Perishable Division of Food Associates reached an agreement to merge with Merkert Enterprises, which would later become Marketing Specialists.
Fred attended the city college of NJ where he studied Business Administration. He has held positions on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Perishable Products Association, the Broker Advisory Council of the International Dairy, Deli, Bakery Association, and has been involved with the New Jersey Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
He lives in Paramus, NJ with his wife Janet.
